Thanks. Sounds like a good light to have available. Just want to see what yours looks like.

When I was pulling air freight , that company didn't mind adding lights. I had KC off road lights on the bottom steps , aimed backwards. Had them wired to a safety switch (red cover toggle switch) . Turn them on and it's day light out back. Last company I worked for forbid adding lights. Offered several times to pay them to install my lights.

What I am doing is not meant to be a replacement for good old fashioned GOAL, just a small addition to make it EZ.

I guess I just keep it simple nothing fancy with the old 4 ways, utility light, go slow, and get out and look.

backing into an inside dock on a bright day can make you crazy. I use my emergency portable strobes. One on each side of the dock.

The brake lights are a lil brighter, you can ride the brakes backing in or when you need to see what's at the end of the spot.

Just about to say the same thing. Anytime I need some light, I hit the brakes.

Just wait until you, have to back into a building and the sun reflecting off of your mirror and the hole you're looking into is just black and the walls are like 110" wide compared to your 102 trailer lol.

    been there, done that.

if i get to one of my stops, and the outdoor lights are off for some reason, i shut my eyes, and back the hell up.

i figure if it's dark, and i cannot see, might as well do it with my eyes closed, since seeing in the dark is impossible.

most times, i get up to the dock just fine. it's the steps, hand railings or building that get's in my way and get banged up a little bit.

Good point, and this shows - backing is a challenge, no two backs are the same, and there's almost always something for the driver to deal with. S M D's post shows why I keep my window and mirror glass clean. It makes a difference. Unless it's raining.
