having driven a truck back in the late 70's which of course was to long ago for most companies i went to a c-1 school and have worked for one of the big training companies for a year.
So i put a app.in to a blanket application site at this web site and was virtually innundated with job opp.close to 30 of them.clean mvr,no accidents and no dot insp.failures helped.of course there were j.b.hunt and the like but there were also some good one's so the advice to do your year and then look elsewhere is valied believe me!

now, pick one and STAY there for 2 or 3 more years, keeping your record clean all the while, then you can get on ANYWHERE. that's when the higher paying companies feel you're experienced enough to work for them.

good luck and be safe out there
