Well, there's a benefit right there! Actually, for a lot of folks that one can cover over a multitude of sins....

 

Trailer ABS light on. Gotta stop at the shop in North Liberty IA. This better not keep me from getting home on time tonight.

The trailer's ECM was gone. As in, it suffered a catastrophic existence failure. When they replaced it, the ABS light went out. Go figure.

Unfortunately, there's no way I get home tonight. This is why I planned my time off TWO days early. Changed my rental car reservation for one day and canceled my doctor's appointment (not really necessary this time around). Going to run errands Monday and back on the road Tuesday.

Corporate insurance kicks in first of November--search begins tomorrow for a better family doctor. First round of checkups after the first of the year.

 

Two hours at P&G in West Branch IA for a drop and hook. Aaaargh. Anything else going to slow me down today!??

 

Hot Chick is ready to roll. I'm finishing my quarter pounder. I'm not hurrying any more. I have til midnight to drop in Manteno (K MART DC) and all day tomorrow to do just over 300 miles. This whole day and its delays can sod off. Sod on them. And fie. Fie on you, evil day. A pox upon thee. I fear not thine evil delays. So there. -Eth.
