LOL... People even try that in my personal vehicle. I am not intimidated by that any more. Heck I may even drop down to the speed limit. Even had a semi try that last week... Only made him madder because I would not speed up. You want to drive aggressively then be my guest. With the D8 I had on this morning I probably would not have felt a thing.
Maybe if you only go nose deep and use your tongue to lick..... That might get me to go faster....
Now if I am going up a hill at 120k or better, you will NEVER get me to pull over to let someone pass. I am not stopping until I get over the top of the hill. My truck is ungoverned but I am not going more than 3 mph over the speed limit. I can't afford and don't want a speeding ticket. It will get there right after I do.

I have not been up there much this year, did they finally get all that construction finished?
-
I know what you mean, really I do. I think you are one of the more sane people around here and although, I can disagree with you, you have my respect.
I do what I can to speed up if passing is futile from traffic, but if you can pass, please don't jump my but for being slow.cnsper Thanks this. -
Kool. Stay safe. I don't say anything to slow trucks that can't do any faster
-
Never met a fellow driver that would pay my fines. Pretty sure that includes you. If ya get behind me, bring it on around. I'll even flash the lights (if you don't have your radio on) to let ya know you're clear. Probably even drop a couple mph off. But I won't speed up.
And trucking went to hell several years ago. Anyone find it odd that it occurred right about the time CDL schools started popping up?double yellow Thanks this. -
Really? Lol

Are you sure you drive for Prime? Not sure any type of vehicle can go slower. Just messing with you

As far as I am concerned... If you want to pass and I am doing the speed limit or above then do what you need to do to get around me... The way I see it, if I am already above posted speed limit then what is the need to go faster.. I will back down to allow someone to get around but that is all I am going to do to help the process along.. If your going to ride my bum that isn't going to help my help you... In fact if your right on my bump I will drop it down to the speed limit as a protest for your unsafe habit.. There is no need for it..
As said by another member.. When I am going up hill I will not pull over or slow down unnaturally... It already takes long enough to get up the hill without the added downtime of pulling over or slowly down more then my weight is doing for me...
Anyone who is passing is the vehicle that takes the responsibility of doing the maneuver. It's not up to me (or you) to move over for them... The only thing I have to do is NOT SPEED UP when the person is trying to pass.. This is dangerous and dumb... (which happens frequently on the highway)...GenericUserName, demi, scottied67 and 1 other person Thank this. -
Really, I have not been up there since maybe March of this year and I know they started on it last year. I have been runnign I90 and I15 most of the year so far with a few ventures as far as Checkerboard. Most of the hauling this year has been either from Billings to Helena, Billings to Williston or Swan Lake to Helena and then an area from Yellowstone Park to Dillon and north to I90. Once in a while I will have something to Great Falls to either RDO(JD), CAT or kenworth
