Do you understand what a super 10 is??
I don't think you do. Because if you did, you'd know its good for anything. -
What ? no explanation , if I did know more about the super 10 I wouldn't be asking this question.

I've never driven a super 10 before but from what I understand, it's a 5 speed main box with a splitter instead of a range selector. Seems like it'd be a little more difficult to drive than a regular 10 speed with a range selector.

Basically...
No high/low range selector
Just a splitter button (2 position )
So start in first 15-1600 let off to ~1200 and throw the splitter. Hello 2nd.
It'll take using it to understand it.
I like it with high number motors (hp/tq)
And bigger loads. 106,000+
R/R - 3/4 - 7/8
1/2 - 5/6 9/10
Instead of
R - 2 - 4
1 - 3 - 5
High range selector up
X - 7 - 9
6 - 8 - 10yotaman Thanks this. -
Someone described a Super 10 as the bottom half of an 18, ie, no range selection.
An issue is that low isn't as low, iirc. -

thanks for the replies, I appreciate it.

As soon as you shift up to 7 it automatically goes into High range. I hate the super 10.
