No its off a timer it only need to run 60 minutes or so. More when it's really cold. I also close up the winter front, put a windshield screen on and close the middle curtain. Anything to lower the power draw.

take it no APU? Maybe look into one to keep batteries charged. May be cheaper in the long run.

At $29.95 per battery and a new set every year, I'll keep doing this! Keep in mind, I'm not complaining. Just curious if anyone else goes through batteries like I do with a HEAVY hotel load all the time.TROOPER to TRUCKER Thanks this.

Oh thought you were trying to figure out how to not be going through them....drove 13 out of 14 days/night taking a toll...lol
