I think I have a early 70 Uniden still in the box new, never installed. email me at pah5295@aol.com and we will talk if you are interested. I am gone for several days at a time so may be slow response.

That's the place that has the radio in the box brand new for $10. It used to be an international dealership and now its just a truck repair shop but they still have a few boxes of vintage items collecting dust in the corners

I've still got a cobra 21? I think it is. It was my dads. He had it in his Monte Carlo when he was in college and radios were popular. Had it in my Mustang when I rolled it. It wasn't mounted and it hit me in the head and knocked me out.... still has some blood on it, still outperforms a new radio.

That's a good one... DNA included...

(After stopping laughing.) Just another reminder to keep everything in place and tight, including water bottles and other stuff, which may damage equipment, including windshield, driver or get under the brake pedal and cause accident. That's one of the things from safety meetings we had.

For vehicles that old, you need 23 channel radios.

Another reason I went with an older Philippines Uniden PC 76. I've had this thing going on about 5 years now in the truck and it's practically bomb proof. The joints still hold and the board is solid as a rock. Paid 15.00 for it.

Had it benched when I first bought it and a second time when I acquired a kicker, and wanted to marry the two of them, up together, the right way.

Yep. I would prefer 23 channel radios for these applications.

I've been in contact with them. She quoted me $45. So, I passed.

    Thanks for the lead anyway!
