Dude's not kidding. Happened to TransAm.
TransAm used to be one of the best reefer outfits out there, until they got into the Lease/Purchase scam game.
Now the only ones making money at TransAm are TransAm and Kenworth.

Keep leasing sheeple, leaves more frieght for me while you're all running around trying to figure out how to pay for someone else's truck. I'll go ahead and keep my entire check as a company driver.

Nothing derogatory was intended..just had a nice ring to it..
I dont take per diem pay,but the deduction is still there.Ive been banking some cash,as my monthly obligations,are very small..but women do tend to come,with a large price tag..LOL

I worked at celadon as a company driver. They treated me well, gave me good miles and good loads. Sometimes I miss those days but I wake up and remember they pay really low and have little hometime.

 

Without decent pay and home time most call this a "lifestyle".
I don't want a lifestyle...I got something better....a JOB and a LIFE.
