Antenna help

    I have a bearcat 980 SSB and i purchased a 3' roadpro antenna. Since hooking it up i can not hear anything . What did i do incorrectly ?? Any help would be appreciated .

    get something that can easily out reach whatever it is own, probably 7' or more.....all after you turn it on

    i have a 2015 dodge ram and i mounted it to an aluminum tool box. I Don't hear anyone over the cb ,And i took it off the box to see if that was the problem and still the same results !
    why is this happening !! And Horseshoe VERY FUNNY !!! LOL

    what is the make besides 3'. In my research when riding the antenna needs to be straight up at the same time a good distance from the vehicle.

    just saw it, try another antenna such as wilson etc not roadpro

    Wilson would be a great pic for a shorter antenna and the magnet mount seems to work great
