I agree with TaFool! If the pay was better they would be more competitive. That being said, I had a good time and a nice home while I was there.

Here is a question so far I can't get an answer to. When you finish the lease and buy the truck for $1.00 can you still stay on with them or do you have to start a new leas
-
Yes you can Stratmaster. You can stay, trade it in, sell it out right and get a new truck or take it with you. your choice.
-
That means if you take care of the truck and pay it off in three years, Keep it and you will get an automatic raise of what ever the payments were! that's HUGE! I figure roughly $2400.00 a month!!!
-
Pretty much. Though the payments will depend on the number of miles you run. JCT has a decent program. Keep in mind if you have the ability to get your own truck you will come out ahead, but those that dont can use a program like JCT to get there.

Stay away. I worked for them for two years, running my butt off with a lease truck. No pay, many miles, and you are still just a number. I lost my truck when they sent a person to take it back when i was at a hotel room. There is not enough room to tell you about all the wrongs done by this company. STAY AWAY!

One must be very maticulous, and research the 3 Diamond Lease Co, that is owned by John Christners daughter. Have a qualified attorney look over the lease, or talk to one before signing. Also keep in mind that you as a lease operator are responsible for all cost's. Fuel, maintenance, tolls, truck payments, taxes, permits, and so on. One cannot think because they are an O/O or lease operator they are going to make money. Budgeting is also a very important issue when doing a lease purchase. If you do not pay off the truck, they do not report the payment history to the Credit bureaus. So trying to finance on your own is not easy, due to lack of credit history. Also all Advances taken by the lease operator comes out of their profits.
-
I can see this happening if a person were to complete, or was able to complete the pay off. To many times these companies find a reason to pull the truck from the lease operator before the pay off is done. They than turn around and resale the truck to someone else for the same price you were to pay off. Also many companies require after pay off of truck to purchase another newer model, as the one you have is old, and mileage is to high.
-
The only way to lose your truck is to fall behind on payments or be a habitual screw-up.
Thats a "well, duh!" Statement
Not true. It gets reported each quarter.
Another "well, duh!" Comment
At JCT used trucks are much cheaper than new.
Too old? Mileage too high?
All I can say is "step away from the bottle!"
