Walmart here I come!

I have been working out of Washington Court House, OH, for 4 weeks. I came from 22 years of being a steel hauler, where we could get away with just about anything. Walmart has rules about texting and phone use, but they aren't hard to live with. This is far and away the best job I've ever had, and when you see the paycheck, you'll see that the rules are not a problem. I just wish I'd started here years ago.

Really? It's a dedicated run from a chicken plant that is around the corner from my house. We are worried we won't hear from Walmart again and he's passing up a paying job for a hopeful possibility.....its just so hard to know what to do....

 

That's what we were thinking. Hard to be like that because he is a loyal employee but Walmart is his dream so he would never pass it up but we can't live on dreams....need income now and this process from my understanding can take months.

 

Is JB Hunt dedicated that bad??

 

it is what you make of it when it all said and done. Start there, get some money coming in, apply to Pottsville and add that to the app.

 

His big concern is does it look like job hopping?? And will Walmart just overlook him because of it? He put application into Pottsville today as soon as he found out Smyrna was full. Hopefully he hears something....maybe before he's supposed to start JB Hunt.

 

not job hopping, they would realise the need to make money in my opinion, just explain it. Surely they would understand. I would have to think that Pottsville will get in touch.

 

Dedriver tell your husband don't give up. He was smart for applying for the Pottsvile DC . And take that JB job and look at it as only a temp job that's what I did before I came here. Just update you app with HR with the new job Walmart not going to care about that you got to work.
