how is the preload network? do you guys get assigned your next load while on your current load? thats what im used to....i cant stand waiting an hour or two sitting around waiting for a load. also, i like driving from about 5-6 am till 5-6 pm....is that something CT will take issue with?

 

Hey Mattfield, yeah my fleet leader gets me a preplan. He keeps me moving. I doubt there will be an issue with your "bankers hours". This is dry van where most shippers and receivers work "decent" hours. Also, we have a good amount of drop and hooks which should play well to your hours. Reefer, a different story. thanks george.....i live in kernersville nc so i see you guys all the time, the sat radio, and the epicvue is a selling point, as well as the fridge. the trucks seem outfitted really well too. home on the weekends is a major factor as well. gotta keep the fam happy lol

 

Stuck at Blueline in Greensboro for the last three hours. 100,000 pizza boxes for Little Caesars in my wagon. Please take them off. Headed to the Epes yard in Winston Salem to pickup my home load headed to Lowes in Garysburg NC, then home to Plymouth. Boxes came from RockTenn in Wakefield MA. Decided to stay out over the weekend instead of taking a Friday homeload of siding to Norandex Elizabeth City. Oy vey! Life in the trucking lane!

 

For anyone in the NC area, looks like they (CC) are having a Job Fair Wednesday, and Thursday in Charlotte.

Ran out of time on my 14, so parked at the Rocky Mount yard and the wife picked me up. Dinner date at the Giant Red Crab. Had to. 140 mile roundtrip. And a second one tomorrow back to the truck. Maybe Cracker Barrel?
