Walmart here I come!

DEDriver, I recently had my phone call and it was nearly 2.5 months since I submitted. Hope that helps a bit in your decision making. I'm sure they'd be understanding if your husband had to do something else until his call.

 

I applied at the Smyrna location three days ago so I guess I will be applying at the Pottsville facility as well. Thank you also for the everyone who input on the micromanaging. I don't mind a little micromanaging but some places as most of you probably already know and be very tedious and that can be pretty tough to do being a driver .

 

We understood the process was long but from our understanding Smyrna is now filled so he put his application in for Pottsville yesterday. Hopefully he gets a call. We are rethinking the JB Hunt job because they already changed what he was told on the phone in the original interview. Not a good feeling....

 

That's never a good feeling sorry to hear that, I'm also applying for the Pottsville position. Did your hubby call to ask if they're still accepting apps there?

 

The posting for Pottsville just came up on Monday so I am sure they are still accepting apps for Pottsville. Fingers crossed for you and my husband. This is a long time coming and we are just praying we are making the right decision. Any prayers would be appreciated!

On another note, I just checked his application status on the site and the one for Smyrna still says "under consideration" while the one for Pottsville changed from under consideration to "application received". We are hoping that means the DC received the application now and it is moving along in the process. We will see....

Not sure if that is what it means but at least is says something different than the Smyrna app. Though we are not sure if that is a good thing or bad thing!
