Fuel bonus program?

    When did we get a fuel bonus program? This is the first time I have heard about it and I'm kind of pissed off. First of all I am in a 2010 truck which is not as efficient as most of the fleet. Secondly, my APU has gone down several times over the summer. I delayed in getting it fixed until it was convenient to get by a service center instead of putting in a break down request.

    I am kind of upset about this and I don't know who I should contact about it. I don't idle the truck unless it is necessary when my APU is down, but I guess I kind of got screwed on this bonus.

    For the first time, I am actually not happy with Averitt's move here

    i think they started the fuel bonus sometime in 2013, they base it on the average fuel mileage your truck should get with the engine/trans it has in it. Don't be to mad about not getting it i think the goal is hard to reach, i'm sure there are drivers who get it, but i drive a 2012 freightliner and have not got the bonus yet. and i never idle.

    I see, not really a huge deal since we already get profit sharing. If it is that hard to get, I probably wouldn't hit that mark anyway. Thanks for the info!

    The fuel bonus program started in late 2010 or early 2011. I had a 2011 Cascadia, and never got one. When I received my 2013 Prostar, I never missed a quarterly bonus in 2 years. Now after being off for 6 weeks, I lost my truck and now am in a 2015 Volvo....I do not care about the bonus as I'm done in 2 months. The thinking in Cookie Ville is that we cannot have TRUCKLOAD PUKES making too much money.
