As I read the threads about companies with cameras and 60 mph trucks and mission statements, makes me happy that I work somewhere with a true open door policy that trusts me to do my job without my hand held. They also work with you too if something happens, like a friend of mine who had a wreck and they're looking out for him until he gets better. Lessors may not have all the fancy crap and big terminals. But we have work and good trucks. Here I am again with a stellar week and a fleet manager who is a friend rather than a coworker. Time to get back on the road!

That's where I am currently. I took a load of juice out of Florida that's going to Walmart in Grandview Washington. Then I have a load that picks up just south of there in Boardman Oregon that's going to Mountain Home Idaho.

In the interest of full disclosure, new trucks and trailers with a small handful of bells and whistles and a competent payroll department is not the least bit unique to Lessors, nor does it make Lessors special. You can't exactly go anywhere and get those things, but going to a company that doesn't have them would mean going to a company that's the same caliber as Swift or England or any other megacarrier. We are a step up from them on the ladder, but the ladder is not short, and there are many more steps above us.xlsdraw Thanks this.

Then go work somewhere else. Have at it if you think we're that bad.

Does Lessors use a specific company to buy fuel or can you go anywhere, like PFJ. Loves, Petro?
Do they have a route you are to take or can you get from point A to B which ever way you choose within reason? -
We fuel at Pilot/Flying J exclusively, 50 gallons elsewhere if in a spot. You route yourself within reason. The only load that is really routed is Caldwell, ID to Walnut, CA because too many people try to run through Vegas when the shortest most direct route is down 95 to 80, back to 95, NV 360, 6, 395, to 15 and thrn to 60.HalpinUout Thanks this.

Too much two lane and not enough strippers on that route....

As far as 2 lane roads..I'd rather run them out west then back east...nice and quiet on those out west for the most part..
