I have my own authority with my own customers, some have been with me over 20 yrs.
From what I've seen on these sites, most co. seem to be a crap shoot-some are good, some not so much. Just gotta do a lot of research and try to speak with current drivers.
Stuck in Phoenix, please help!

I've had temp places turn me down, but that was a good year ago when I had a bit less stable work experience so they might hire me now? I'm not sure. I just know I've always had bad luck getting a driving job.
I really like JB hunt, I love doing Intermodal work, I find it rather enjoyable and I've seen they have probably 50 day cabs near the Phoenix rail yard. Surely out of all those tractors sitting there... I just want a chance at it.Lightside Thanks this. -

If it was me I would suck it up for my family and stay on the position I'm at till everything is good but that's me. -

I've only had 3 trucking jobs, one for 4 months, one for 3, the most current for a year and a half. Wanted to stay with them but couldn't. Left on good terms.

Check out this place. Use to be a temp driving outfit I did some work for back in the 90's. Don't know if they changed their name or got bought out. -
I don't know it kind of sounds to me like it's a slim shady deal with a lot more shady maybe it's an alcohol violation

I talked to a KKW driver at the T/A in Coachella couple weeks ago, said he lives in Tempe and gets paid hourly to shuttle loaded trailers from Phx to Indio. % trips a week, Mon thru Fri-home every night.
Sneakerfix Thanks this.
