If you like the good old 29 you'er gona love this.
Sparkys CB Shack is putting out a custom 29 that they call the Stealth.
looks just like a 29 on the outside. but this one will swing over 50 watts.
This is "NOT" for you if you run a Amp and need a low dead key.
This bad boy is DKing 6 watts. Loud as a Gen. Lee
Go to their web site and check it out.
Oh yea. the price is not bad for what they do to it.
New 29 truckstop around $120.00 This one $199.00 Only $79.00 for everything they did to it.

I just installed the radio in my truck and it was putting out 50 watts on my power meter and the dead key switches from 10 watts to 2 watts with the brite dim switch on the faceplate. Havent been out on the road to use it just yet so dont know what it can do bit will post when I find out.

Thanks. Let us know how you like it. I ordered the High Power version, not the Stealth version. I really didn't want/need some of the other bells/whistles that the Stealth has. May only fear with the HP version is the low, 2-watt, deadkey running stock without an amp. Sparky assured me, even with the 2.5-watt deadkey of the HP version, it will outperform anything/everything I have that's deadkeying at a higher wattage.

Nascar, yes I have one. I got it to use in my pickup. Otherwise I would not have posted about it. I would not want anyone to get one, and be disappointed because of something I said.
In my big unit I'm running a Galaxy 98vhp, strait 6 pill, 213 coax, Predator SW double coil 10k. talks skip great.
I hope everyone has a Happy an Safe 4th.

Well so far so good, only thing is that I wasn't able to tune it using the built in SWR meter and had to go buy one. I will say that it performed ok not great on the first run but that could be since Im using a firestick ant. that I had set up before but thats only because my monkey made wont be here till monday and the I probably wont go on another trip till around wednesday or thrusday. Ill let you know if the new ant. works better or not and if I will be able to use the built in SWR tuner or not.

I read somewhere that another guy had to make sure he had the radio in high-mode to use the SWR meter. Low-mode was too low to allow the SWR fuction to work.
