Maybe, maybe not, but the interns are probably part of the problem. They are just there to get credits for college, they don't give a rats ### if the loads are scheduled right, right delivery times, right pickup times etc. This is my opinion right or wrong, but I hear people say the the CS department is understaffed. I think it is staffed with quite a few people that have no business in CS. Hence the intern reference. There has always been snafu's with loads and the load board itself, but this summer it seems to be the norm. People may not agree and that's fine, but that's my own opinion and I'm sticking to until proved otherwise. They seem to think that just because they are a large company, that losing a few customers is no big deal. That is totally wrong. I was in sales for 12 years and every customer matters no matter if they spend millions of dollars per year or just a few hundred dollars. It all adds up and if anyone thinks that losing a handful of customers here and there is no big deal, that is alarming. None of us knows what the future holds, but at this rate, things could get ugly. Hopefully I'm way off on this and as Sadwar says.
Roll on..
What's up with the Load Board here lately?

Showed up at sun products in salt lake city and they tell me that the load was supposed to pick up last Friday @ 1500...sni had it listed on board as 1400 today...go figure....
-
I don't see any improvement of loads have y'all ?
-
Nope its been the same for the last 6mo
Home_on_wheels and TennMan Thank this. -
I'm seeing a few more loads around my little circle. Other areas of the country, not any improvement as far as I can see.
-
It's everywhere, not just at SNI. Overall I'm still doing good and love it here
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
SNI is waiting until the 5th to release those loads. They are going to let me cherry pick whatever I want off the board, and then release the rest to you pesants. So, there ya go, you're just gonna have to deal.

Makes you guys feel any better its not just your company, loads over here at Knight have been slim pickings also. Still enough to keep people moving but not the abundance that there was at the first of the year.
drvrtech77 Thanks this. -
It's a drought.

IC choice makes up 36% of VTL at Schneider now.
They say they grew it too quick and have stopped expansion hiring and are only doing Maintenance hiring now.
Was told we don't see all the loads available to Schneider for a variety of reasons.
