Another side note try to stay away from Cargill loads out of dodge city. Stick with national beef they pay more! They will also pay detention time. Take as many multi stop loads as possible, more stops more money! Have him ask how back hauls are out of california , that is usually the place to go. Northern cal is better than southern but both will work. If there is anything I can help you with I will pass on what I have learned from my time with this outfit. I know I came off as a jerk at first on this but it scares me hearing of a family man going to this place for work unless wife makes a good income also. Hopefully between me and the other guy that works for them you guys will make it!

Just wanna go on record and say that Itaff is awesome! He called around and helped my hubby turn what was looking like a crappy first week into a decent one! Plus, he'll be able to make it home on Friday for our oldest daughter's last marching band performance.
He was really hoping for that, but it wasn't looking like he was going to be able to and still make enough money to where we weren't pinching, but now we will be good.
It's really nice having someone watch out for you and help you out while you are learning the system. We can't thank you enough, Itaff!
Once my husband builds a rapport with the dispatchers, he'll be able to sweet talk his way into the good loads himself, lol. It shouldn't take long. He's a pretty likable guy.Pintlehook, itaff, mountaingote and 1 other person Thank this. -
I was able to call and get him a milk load from Hutchison to Gardner ($500 it pays the way to liberal) and from there he will get a beef load from Libiral back to Texas for ($2100.00) and be home by Friday night... So that should end the week for the truck at $5100..
mountaingote and gjcarr03 Thank this. -
No problem.. I'm here for any driver out there... We are a family.. I know dispatchers and the office can drive us crazy, but as long as we stick together we have power in numbers..Bumper, Pintlehook, mountaingote and 1 other person Thank this.

I so agree with that J.R. , I use to hate the mulitaple stop loads until I noticed the diffrance at the end of the week, it really adds up..
I also was doing the math the other day on Cargill (70% with FSC) vs. National Beef (72% without FSC) and I think you actually come out better at 70% with FSC.. It's funny but it is an # game to make you want to run the 72% load.. Lol -
It's kinda funny, but I have been calling and trying to help George out and I have a buddy how is trying to get home because his Aunt passed away and I have completely forgot about myself.. Lol
Finally the phone rang and the lady said come on over, and it took me a minute to realize, oh yah I need to get loaded also.. Roflol..
I did walk up to a little book on the river across from the harbor and had the best dam omelette I have ever had in my life.. Must post a picture >>>>>>>>>j.r.1981, gjcarr03 and mountaingote Thank this. -
