One of the things and the only thing that I liked when I ran Costco dedicated for reefer out of Morris. Found that if you treated them with resect they gave it back to you and I started to see the same stores quite often and they would remember me and would at times take me ahead of another Swift truck that might have been giving them a attitude.

Here at Arrowhead Plaza. Today was resent my load assignment with updated times and weight. Saw that it said 17K so was happy and was loading 3 hours early, even happier. Picked it up and got the bills and saw 17K and this is when the lady told me, kg, not lbs. I was PO'd. Whopping 39k across I-90, 82, 84 and 80. Right now sitting at 6.3mpg.

SInce you haven't been across the border in awhile, to get back in to the US, a birth certificate or a valid DL just isn't good enough anymore. You need a passport, passport card or one of those fancy enhanced DL, NEXUS Sentri or FAST travelers cards.

Back in the day all you needed to say was American, and hope the sombreos covered the extra bottles you were bringing in ;)

We need to get ours but should do it one at a time since getting 4 is expensive. Steve and I first because soon TSA won't accept our valid AZ DL for air travel.

Heck I was flying into Canada one time and not even going to leave the airport. Was just escorting my ex there and getting on a plane right back within a couple of hours, and was not allowed because I did not have my passport with me. Did find out that if I did not have my passport the other day it would not have been a issue since I was delivering to a area that I could have been escorted to and left alone, the upper part of the base. Now if would have been the lower part, would not have even been allowed there with escort, where all of the good stuff is.

Home taking a reset. After a 4509 mile week (actually 10 days running) I need it!

After a 5 hour load I didn't have enough time on my 14 to get unloaded at the paper place, not to mention a live load just after.
I'll have to return in the morning to deliver this load and get the next.
The lady in the security office was very cool about it. She said that you can't be early, but you can be as late as you want. It was no big deal.

So I'm parked a few miles away in a small dirt lot, with nothing around.
No morning coffee sucks, but I didn't want to drive 20 miles in each direction for the Petro.

I'm really surprised that I have 4G way out here in the sticks.

Someone is getting miles out of our DM. I am just getting the run around. Told me yesterday that he was working on a stack, and nothing. Today told me that working on a lite load, nothing. Told me Tuesday no problem getting me out of there and still nothing. I am not sure what is going on with our DM.

Here in Willard, UT. Mac 30 is coming up with the crap now. DH to Loveland, 155 miles and pick up going to Grand Junction, 288 miles. Not happening. The worst part, I am delivering to a new dedicated customer of ours with a bunch of loaded trailers sitting there, Cabelas and nothing. Called the Denver planners and was told, call tomorrow and they will know better. BS

I'm being particular about where I go. When I parked the truck this morning I sent a message asking for a specific load on Friday and to be stacked with another specific load after that.
    Worked last time!

Western louisiana, the gf has the hammer down (so to speak). We'll be in laredo in the a.m., early... then a 34.

Truck needs an oil change and I have a few small things to attend to on the truck. Can't wait to get some speedy tacos!

They are sending me lots of load offers with tons of deadhead lately, too. It's almost as if they're trying to leave us little choice but to swap pay plans.
