Becomes this:
Once you factor in tolls, deadhead, and their percentage...
That's ~$3300 a week before fuel (~$800) and maintenance/truck replacement ($800) plus at 90% I bet you're paying for cargo/liability insurance (~$150 not including bobtail).
So figure $1550 pretax income for a guy who knows the system...spectacle13 and Flipflops Thank this. -
there ya go, if someone wants to know their mc# and steal this from you, it must be a good opportunity up in that area for you.

Those are accurate numbers for short hops. Start running longer and the rates will go down, my guys make the same rates as that running Mid-West without any tolls or congestion issues. Max revenue for most weeks would be around $4500.00 for 2000 miles a week, most weeks lately they are averaging $3500.00 - $4000.00 for 1600 - 1800 miles. That is because when things get slow a lot of the dock workers also slow down on loading as well, or we have more loads cancel because a cheaper truck comes along.spectacle13 Thanks this.

At 90% the O/O should be paying for everything, otherwise they should just go and get their own authority.
