    Saw a red GTI Cascadia while I was getting fuel at the LaSalle, IL J. Wee hours and the person driving and doing the fuel appeared to be 50 something and a women.

    The former blue tractors were powered by Cummins, and the newest have the DD15 and are Cascadia Evolution models. Other things I have noticed is a dark pewter Cascadia with GTI on the door at a toll booth, (EZ Pass is no more?), and some jury rigging with duct tape and cardboard in the cab for the nanny box on a brand new truck I parked next to at Ft.Wayne, IN.

    Delivered on time in Jenks OH at Kimberly Clark, then scram for Big Cabin to spend the weekend to pick up a live load in Miami OK. Was annoyed at two days wait for pick up but it goes to Lebanon OR to a Lowe's DC as fast as I can get it there. I'll have it up there by Friday close of business easily, weather permitting. Didn't see any massive winter storms forecast in the immediate future so here's hoping we'll have smooth sailing--because the pay week ends Friday. Great run, though. I guess they're starting to trust me a little.

    This place is kind of meh. Gonna move to Joplin tomorrow morning and backtrack the 20 or so miles to pick up on Monday.
