maxxforce engine

    Can any one help my case please ... I purcharge 7 internatinal prostar 2011 export to overseas but now having isseu with dmv in overseas reason because 2 of 7 trucks on the engine marks 7 digit of engine number but the other 5 was not ... that make dmv thinking is the last my 2 trucks having maybe replacement egine which is not allow to register ... I called navista guy je told me all of maxxforce engine 2011 have the number on ..only at different place .. but I have check other truck you will not find any number on the engine except on the stamp... image-a9487ee5e1263746614aaea001d15621239d28410d9f1965050fd8efa7a71608-V.jpg
    is any one know if they really marks 7 digit egine number by any chance ???

    Look on the top of your engine. There should be a data plate with the engine serial number stamped on it. I own a 2011 Prostar as well, and that's where mine is. If you can't read it, call a dealer, give them the last 8 of your VIN. They should be able to pull up your truck's line ticket which will have the engine serial number on it as well.

    At least they are sending those motors where they belong. Over seas!

    HA! Don't remind me. I bought one of those hunk-a-junk motors back in December. The EGR cooler failed on the way home from the dealer!
