Hi everybody, I have Pete 387, 2007, I've tried to find that fuse box for trailer which should be on a left hand frame, behind the cab, but still have no luck at all, there is just no box at all, I've been following cable all the way to the engine until it was covered and mixed with others wires so I can't follow it. Maybe anybody have knowledge where Peterbilt could possibly hide it. I had temp, jump wire fix, but wanna find those little ########.

The trailer fuses aren't with the rest of them in the panel under the dash near your clutch pedal?

???
I used to run a 2008 388 and it had the main fuse panel under the dash back sort of behind the clutch pedal, and a secondary fuse/relay panel on the firewall inside the engine compartment roughly above the steering column. Lemme see if I can do some digging.Straight Stacks Thanks this. -
Hrmmm.....I couple of places I looked say there is a fuse panel in the 387 behind the glove box. Have you removed it and checked in there? Also heard mention of one possibly on the firewall in the engine compartment on passenger side near washer fill tube.
Personally never heard of Petes having them there, but I know Freightliners and Internationals do.
Good luck. -

I'm not sure what year they changed, but I'm pretty sure it was around 2007 or so that the "Trailer Load Center" electrical box on the frame rail was eliminated and the trailer power was then fed from the "Sleeper Load Center" which should be under the bunk. So your trailer power probably comes from there but it may only have built-in circuit breakers and no fuses (just like the "Cab Load Center").
