LOLs ... your friend doesn't know what he's doing. It's a common disease in business.

They "made" him get a new truck? What? They threatened to take his birthday away? Hold his dog hostage?

 

Thinking it was the holding the dog hostage that did it. But according to him since he wanted to lease they gave him no other choice but to have a new truck since they don't lease any used tractors

 

I'm afraid your friend is mistaken ... they do indeed lease, as well as sell used tractors.

The used leases are taking over and finishing leases on trucks turned in for what ever reason ... The truck will have full warranty for most, if not all of the remaining lease - depending on how one runs.
