You have to. Any driver that has to take his habit to work is about to self destruct.

Had a driver get fired for texting. He was pulling a wind blade. He was supposed to make a turn, and his front car pulled ahead and stopped traffic. He wasn't paying attention, he was texting, missed the turn, and almost ran into the pilot car and stopped traffic. The other 2 drivers called in on him. He got mad at them for snitching. He had a reckless prior, and then soon after that, he dropped a loaded blade trailer. Then the texting happened. They canned him. They had to. He was going to destruct.

 

did blades about 8 yrs ago with a bunch of drunks. drink every night until they dang near passed out. one of them I actually caught drinking one morning on a job site. dropped a dime. guess what I was let go instead. don't rat on the big mans boy is what I learned. found out later he killed some gal when he ran over her car. drunk of course.

 

everyone who knows of me knows how I feel , leave the personal fun devices at home , that includes the booze and the dope....do what you choose to do when it's on your time , but make sure you're legal when it becomes work time.....this ain't rocket science , its a matter of being an adult and doing the safe and responsible thing....really , really simple.

Woah woah woah. Legalizing pot has nothing to do with morals or decline or anything else. This is the Puritan "I'll tell people what is right for them because it's what I say" garbage that's for the birds. Whether it's marriage equality, legalizing pot, or raising a speed limit, it's not about any moral decline. It's about expanding freedom in a free country. There's no sane reason why pot should be illegal except for some Puritan religious right wing nuts who want to control how other people live. Bring on the legalized pot and kill off the cartels and overzealous police officers.
