    A lot of guys are to broke and have no credit cards or money for any other means... Most companies will reimburse a driver towards the cost of a rental car provided you put it on YOUR credit card...

    Imagine the company provide a rental car to a potential new hire without even meeting that person, not knowing if that person is a drug addict or what... How do they know he is even going to show up in the rental car booked under the companies credit card?
