I hate to bust anyone's bubble about DAC. DAC is in a lot of ways like a credit report. One of the sections is inquiries. Lets say you filled out an application for USA Truck or a school they use. They will as part of their hiring process pull your DAC. That check is kept up with and becomes part of the file. I have a copy of my DAC file and I see all of this on mine. So lets say now you decide to go with another carrier later because you were removed from school. They might ask about USA Truck and what happened. What will you do if that carrier has contacted USA Truck.? If you were accepted by C1 in Indianapolis for USA Truck and sent home for any reason USA Truck and the school has a record of it. This information is releasable. They can't get into the why's, but they most surely can release the fact you were there. The same with orientations. DAC makes most any official contact with a carrier (sticky). When you apply list all contacts with carriers that involve school and orientation. List all serious arrests and convictions. If you got arrested for something that President Jimmy Carters brother Billy once did list it. Billy Carter urinated on a Georgia State Patrol car. Full disclosure here, even if you think its hidden or to old to matter, list it.

First it depends on the school. I would go to the local court hose and see if you can get it removed from your record. If you were not arrested and only written a citation I will assume it was a simple misdemeanor which they will correct. What did they say when they dq'd you? You are coorect if this is the reason for dq they immediately believed you were being dishonest with them. So what they can put on your dac by law in this situation is that you quit or were dismissed from orientation/ training. They will probably put not eligible for rehire and finally that you violated a company policy but will not list what that violation was... Also 4 days depending on the school you were never officially an employee. You can call Hire Right/ DAC and tell them you want to dispute this. So even if it is pulled by another company it will say disputed.
If you took the DOT physical and drug screen even if you passed they will report it... Most companies will not consider this as a mark against you especially if you are honest about it. But you need to contact Hire Right/ DAC 1-800-381-0645.. This way you can find out what and how they reported this which will also determine what another company will find..

Some of the companies may not report this. But I know that some will. And if it is on your DAC report the new company will find out about it. But you should first know exactly how they reported it.. Hope this helps and if you have any questions just ask.

 

looks like it is considered a falsification on your application. probly has some little print that automatically disqualifies you because of that. you werent hired so you werent fired, just misinformed. now you are informed. just answer the questions they ask and try not to offer more info. i think you are ok.
