All the fleet managers are in cookeville, Tn. and you will meet yours when you are in orientation. I have had the same fm since i started with averitt and have always got along good with him. I run out of columbus, ohio and average around 2100-2200 mi most weeks.

I have a Q. If you only run 21-2200 miles per week..... how many days are you at home ???

I would honestly hope at least FOUR.

No offense , but 2200 miles per week is , even on a 5 day schedule, 400 miles per day. I can do that in 6 hours driving.

Someone leaves you guys SITTING in a dock , or a truckstop, WAY TOO MUCH!!

There are other options , guys.

I got a transitional fleet manager to start with to make sure it went well for 3 weeks or so. Met him at my orientation. Then found out all of the TL guys from that orientation got the same fleet manager so it's based solely on orientation.

If that is all the miles you are getting either there is more on your end you may be leaving out or stay on your FM to get with the load planner and get you some miles. I usually now stay out two weeks and haven't seen less than 3k in several weeks not counting my breakdown week this week.

I leave out monday and am home on friday most of the time, that is just an average some weeks i run a lot more. I am happy with my paycheck every friday. and very happy with the company. Everyone is is different and some choose to run a lot harder and they get a lot more miles.

As long as you are happy good deal! I love the company most days but a few here and there I would like to plant my truck through the front of the corporate offices. Ah you run out of Erlanger?

I am out of columbus (COB), it is just a drop lot for truckload. There are some days i feel the same way, but for me the good outweighs the bad.

the good most def. does take care of the bad. It doesn't matter the amount of time you have in everyone is treated well. The only ones that annoy me are the "know it all trainers". When I was in training I would have killed a few of them.
