Drop shippers commonly do just what they have done to you. Charge the card, place the order with their manufacturer or fulfillment service. They hugely dropped the ball on not communicating with you for a week. I would have done the same and cancelled the order. Probably would have done it through the company I placed the order with, but if they refused or I could not get a hold of them I'd have no problem calling my credit card company and stopping payment due to lack of communication / order not shipped in a timely manner.

Out of all my CB dislikes that is #1. With all the other channels why do "those people" choose 19?

They choose 19 because nobody would hear what a tough guy they are on any of the other channels. Course, not too many people are even on the cb these days. Drive for hours and forget it's even on. So the tough guy is likely talking to empty space on any channel.

It's the way online business is headed. Haven't seen it much with truck related purchases. But I have ran into this type thing several times with buying parts for my off-road toys. These online companies work out of small offices (possibly their house) with very little overhead. Why have a huge warehouse full of parts that may never get purchased? When you can use your customer's money to purchase the item from someone who does have a huge warehouse. And then send it on to the customer once it arrives.

Thats why I use Amazon, they have stuff in their possession and ship it the day I order it. If they don't have it, they tell you. Raney's inferred that they would ship my order in a timely manner. Its been over a week now and it still hasn't shipped.

What was the estimated arrival time when you placed the order? Almost always in the small print it says 6-8 weeks.

Ordered parts for my 55 chevy truck, showed in stock but got an email saying it was on back order. Told them by email to just cancel those parts and send what they had, no problem. Got the parts in a few days. You might do the same and buy what they don't have at another company...?

I recently ordered some parts for my vaporizer (e-cig device) and the website said that my order had to be shipped from China and to expect 4-5 weeks for delivery. The item was dirt cheap so it'll be worth the wait.
