Yeah that's about the rate of pay for working 12 hours every single day and running Allison Pass in the winter... There are way better options if you want to be home everynight. I'm leaving next week for Australia for a few months but when I get back, Scamp is the first place I'm tossing a resume.

Geeze I'm jealous! Lol yea I heard scamps a pretty good place to work for.

Yeah, 12 hour shifts as well, but 4 on, 4 off, $27/h to start, $30 after 3 months, RRSP matching, benefits, etc
-
They're still paying $25/hr. It'd be a small raise if I didn't work any overtime, to what I make now. May not be worth it if the pay doesn't change.

Yeah, they're represented by CLAC. I'm already home daily, so that isn't a factorLast edited: Nov 7, 2015

I know DCT works out to be about $23.00 an hour. Not worth it in my opinion

Yeah. I could make more doing this, but to do so I would have to work an extra shift weekly a fair amount of the time to make it worthwhile. For now I'm going to stick where I'm at, and see if things change in the future
