If I'm not mistaken, a new turbo has to be calibrated once installed. If all that stuff is new, they might've forget to do that part of the process. Something to consider anyway.Straight Stacks and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

Thats correct from what I understand they have to be zero'd in by the ecm prior to installation. There must be some issue, ran 3k miles before I got the fault.
Oh well... more warranty work. Dang VGT.Straight Stacks and truckon Thank this. -
The best place for all that newer vgt and other emissions related junk technology is trash can. Retrofit it back a couple years and that engine will have more power, run smoother, and get better fuel economy. Forum rules prevent us from telling you how, so Google is your best friend when you get sick of those fault codes pooping up all the time derating the engine.
Straight Stacks, truckon and Cottonmouth85 Thank this. -
He should just make Kenny into a glider. Put an old C block kitty in it.Straight Stacks, truckon and Cottonmouth85 Thank this.

I'd be happy with a Icon W9 3406e glider!

Update time. 6000 miles after a complete rebuild the turbo goes out in Denver. 3 days in the shop thanks to the 'who is paying for this mess' warranty battle. Well rested and ready to head back south.
Al. Roper, HeWhoMustNotBeNamed, truckon and 3 others Thank this. -
