5 seconds? I would say valve problem or something in the air lines
-
Mine can be slow. There's a 5/32" line conversion that makes sense to speed up range and splitter time. I replaced my lines with the 1/8" factory. Like to be able to go to parts store for common fittings and line. Maybe someone tightened down those compression fitting too much and blocked some of the air.
k whopper Thanks this. -
does it do it when cold or all the time.k whopper Thanks this.

Check your filter and air Inlet on back of Trans, pull the cap off and there's a filter In there that needs to be cleaned. I usually fill with a little atf and put cap back on and cycle a few times. This filter housing is also a regulator that cuts air down to 60psi to operate the tranny, that's probably the whole issue.

all the time but I have not really ran it

will try this today it seems like an air issue the guy I got the trans from had it rebuilt and ran it for 3 months and he found a deal on an 18 speed so that's how I got the 13 its been sitting in the corner of the shop around 2 months

well like the other post mentioned or there could be some grease leaking in past the o-ring in the splitter letting it drag a little more than usual.k whopper Thanks this.
