A plus of my current waiting status is we got to go to church for the first time in about a hundred million years. Wasn't much, nothing fancy, just a simple little trucker chapel service, but it was nice to be able to do. Truth be told I prefer the simple stuff these days.

 

Wowzers. This, I did not know.

 

Got turned around with a relay from Rawlins WY to a 2-stop in Denver. Now yanking a load of booze to St Louis area. Gonna get it there tomorrow night to salvage my paycheck.

 

Sitting at yard in Pontoon Beach, gotta pick up at Unilever after 1300 and get it to Menomonie WI Walmart tomorrow (but not before). Then scoot over to lower Minneapolis for a Sam's load going to Green Bay, also due tomorrow. Then I get to meet my new dispatcher, as I have been moved from Indianapolis terminal to Green Bay.

Them: "HURRY HURRY HURRY GET THAT LOAD TO SAM'S BEFORE 2100!!"

Me: "(Huff huff puff) Okay, got it here and it's 2030. Give me my cookie."

Sam's: "Why are you here?? Receiving doesn't get here til 2115."
