I am drive it's just I was a bit rusty when I came to do the upgrade . Seeing as how I hadn't shifted in two months basically after just learning. I'm looking to get a bit more otr to get my shifting down then working locally. You have any places in mind

Read your other thread. You found a local gig. Not bad...just need some seat time. Local driving is a bit tougher than OTR. I am one of those people that will take a pay cut now if it would get me to my goal quicker (time is more important than money). You need some seat time in a manual truck...that's it. The way I did it when I started was by running team pulling a reefer for a smaller company. I wasn't worried about pay, I just needed the seat time. Run a couple weeks and come back.

But that local company, I would ask the boss if I came back and could shift well, would he give me a shot. If he's wanting 6 months, I'd go elsewhere. I wouldn't go to a company and get dug, personal gear in a truck...etc, in just for a 6 month stint.

    Any farmers around?

I think you're under contract till your school is paid .I would be finding a trucking lawyer and fight this.its their fault for not giving u a manual.they should have worked with you on passing rather then just fire you.I have to ask, why did you choose england for your schooling?

That's. Good you're not under contract.start applying to companies then.I still wouldn't pay one thin dime.if england calls and in time they will, you tell them exactly what happened.I dont get it,england is the worst of the worst has a huge turnover rate but they still get ppl by the bus loads every week.how many students was in your class?

That is correct. CR England has a horrible reputation for doing this.
Ignore the debt. Don't sign for any mail and don't give them any money at all. Don't talk to them on the phone.
Many companies will hire you. Most companies know CR England and CRST both pull this all the time. They both make tons of money running CDL schools.
Submit some job applications and you'll be on the road in a few days.
Which state do you live in and which city are you near? We need to know the hiring area you live in and some drivers on here can give you info where some jobs are.
