I let my license expire, I now have to retake exam and drive test. Expired while suspended for no insurance. Will I have a problem being hired after cdl school because of this?

Also I have no tickets or accidents on my McRae just the administrative suspension.
Long story short I got fined for three vehicles not insured, one was not mine but I was driving. -
Suspended license is going to hurt to say the least. How long ago?
KriegHund Thanks this. -
There's a few companies that will hire you.

I suppose It'll just be carriers like swift then?

I know there's a difference between administrative suspension and suspension for your driving.
Suspended for two years, had too pay $2000 for a release. -
Well it really depends on age of the offense number of tickets associated etc. Don't think anyone looks beyond 3tickets in 3 years starting out.

Only tickets was 16yrs ago. Now I am reading I may have trouble because I retired 4 years ago, so no job history there. Thinking I may be sol.

Not at all. Just need (i think) 3 people to verify you were in fact retired and unemployed. Were there check stubs to verify? If no tickets and nothing showing up on MVR i wouldn't worry about the suspension. I was out of work nearly 2 years when I got my start.

Yeah I can show bank statements showing government retirement pay.
