Did Ralph teach you that?

I like it but if you do that on a pre -05 model you can't open the door.
Oxbow, Dirty-Low-Walker, crb and 4 others Thank this. -
Usually when I see a truck with a mirror shake, I look down to see their steer tire bouncing like a basketball going down the road.
-
Did you find that out the hard way?burnsey, Skate-Board, peterbilt_2005 and 3 others Thank this. -
Mine shakes at an idle while backing. When I have a spotter I tell them I need large arm movements because their hand is already moving in the mirror. Mine is an 07 w900. Just vibrates enough to make things annoying.Troy_ Thanks this.

I agree. Usually, "mirror shake" is a symptom of a more serious issue. While the truck doesn't look too old, I'd rule out a bearing or driveshaft, but 1 curb hit (or mega pothole) on a steer tire is all it takes to ruin a tire. ( or trailer problems) Most Pete's (and KW's) I've driven, you could see out the mirrors just fine. Now that IH 4070B, THAT had mirror shake ( along with the rest of the truck
