Some people were born with a wheel,in their hand.
I have pics of me behind the wheel,of a 68 GTO as a kid.
Had a car at 14,no license, played hookie with all the young girls, been dodgeing cops my whole life....and proud of it!

I wonder how those low boys ride?
    Especially on bad roads.
Does the air suspension, raise them up while driving?
    Thanks.

Pretty much it. Add ramps and other options to suite the type freight being hauled.

Not much on the legal weight side that a 53' step cant haul or be fitted to haul.

Each would have its own intended freight. So you need to know what type of freight you will haul.

53' spread with fixed axles would not be 50 state legal.

53' step with steel frame, aluminum deck, nail boards, sliding rear axle, chain pulls, container locks, ramps, J-tracks. Not much you couldnt haul with that setup. Aluminum frame would be lighter (Carry more cargo weight) ,.. but I'm not sure how well they would hold up hauling equipment around.

    Honest question,..

Are you about to enter driving school or about to graduate?

Your questions leave a bit to wonder. Potential trolling?

Well its nice to have dreams.

Better to have a set plan and the fortitude to follow through. Information is still key to understanding any kind of business. Trucking is no different. Takes years to fully understand.

I see lots of low boy trailers, sitting on blocks at truck stops...leaving fuel islands, they dont seem like they ride high enough to clear, say railroad crossings, where there is a crest of the pavement.
