I think the question is what are yours!
-
True I'll have to say my biggest concern would be getting stuck with someone that I don't get along with or doesn't teach me jack squat.

Your supposed to do a weekly call in and chat with the FM. If at that time you are feeling try are having issue's with you trainer you bring it up. Now that said, you best have proof, as the he said/she said cr@p won't fly. Also keep in mind that the QC records all your driving actions electronically so it can be reviewed by the FM or Steve Larson if need be. So if you make a claim that your not getting enough driving time, but the QC shows you are, well you get the picture.PChase, FullMetalJacket, Brehon and 1 other person Thank this.

Makes sense thanks for the info.

Be sure to read the thread about what to expect... I know it needs a little revision in places but it's still pretty accurate .
Oh, I try to tell everyone thus going into orientation... When you're in classes and lectures be sure to turn your phone off. When I say off I mean O-F-F not silent or vibrate.
Be at classes on time, early is on time and on time is late. (Kind of an industry standard)TooSlow4Words, Brehon, Chucktshoes and 1 other person Thank this. -
I will be there on the 16th also.
TooSlow4Words Thanks this. -
Me too. My concern is flatbed vs. tank re: overall pay and hometime since I live in SW OK
-
I live in SW OK also and I'm going to try for the flatbed.
-
Did you drive on the oil fields?
If so, check with BT Express Global Services in Weatherford, Oklahoma. Maybe they'll hire you. It's a small flatbed outfit; maybe 20 or 30 trucks.npok Thanks this.
