Lol if he wants some training exposure to the north he is more the welcome to tag along! Doing a 7 drop MN today then deadhead to the Blaine Brothers yard d/h and head to Manitoba with a 6 drop. Traffic probably be horrible on the Manitoba load Im guessing we will probably see 30 cars all day and be wearing shorts and T shirts.

 

I don't think it's that bad really. Yeah it's a hot mess in that trailer in August but it didnt really bother me and that's coming from a guy that hates hot weather. I know I feel better now than I have in 10 years just after only 7 or so months of doing this. And yes the money is nice! Some load that you think would be big payers aren't and the ones that you think are going to suck turn paying good. Easy to see $350+on your peddle days.

 

I appreciate all the sentiments and offers for expanding my horizons but I'll pass lol

Paid my dues in the northeast and then trained many a student up there too.

Well spoke with some pull from the inside. Since its been 7 years since i have driven, I gotta go get me a year before they will hire me. So gonna go run for a local furniture hauler for a year then apply. My 7 years otr was just to long ago. LOL

That's the biggest disadvantage of going out and back and being in advance on Tuesday morning. What's here isn't very attractive and there's always 3-4 going up there.
