I think the problem with most of the Tysons facilities in Iowa and Illinois anyway is that most of them were former IBP plants that Tyson bought.

Yah, there is a Pilot and Flying J couple miles away (used to be K&B bobtail heavan) and there USED to be a Mom & Pop right up the road (still there but abandoned), until Habib ran it into the ground like every other truck stop, gas station, and hotel he gets his hands on.
And Big Pappaxx...I fail to this day to see the difference between a Tyson, and a "used to was IBP" Tyson. -
I dont think there's any difference between the two just a different name is all.my brother has been with Tyson long before it was Tyson.he's been there like forty years his pay never got cut just because of new management.

I work for them and this is false. We work Tyson now and did so last year this time as well. Its still our mainstay.

What it is, is they now load our trailers nearly same day and have them out again. New setup. They expedite around 20 KB loads out of Waterloo a day now. Sometimes more.
