That is $1200-$3000/ week after all expenses. It's a wide range but loads can vary. I've hauled a load that paid nearly $8/ mile and then I've hauled loads that pay as little as $0.95/ mile. Again there is way too much trust placed in the planners and your DM. I like to have more control over my business. That is why I am leaving for greener pastures.

Yes that's why I really don't do Command loads, once from PA to Fl I met a guy from a different company at the final that loaded exactly when and where I loaded at, and he told me his company or truck got over a $1000 more for the same load as I did. Once at another place I even got another $100 more than the other Swift O/O next to me, cuz I complained.
I have to agree about trust, to me its more when and where, and not so much the money as it is peace of mind and enjoying life more, than being stuck on I 95 for the rest of my life. LOL,

so does swift supply the O/Os with an ez pass? or how does the toll situation work ?
-
Any tolls Swift will reimburse the driver for, on the settlement. But its worth the extra $5/wk to me to avoid the hassle of paying money out of pocket when I do a lot of Oklahoma and Kansas.
Plus I was told that its either the Ez Pass or Pike Pass now covers the tolls in and around the Dallas/Fort Worth area. But the tolls around Denver, Co, we were told to stay away from because of getting fined, since they are taken from the trks plates. And not collect like regular tolls are.
In essence, Swift will pay for every toll, regardless of where it is.
I haven't done the I80 Bridge toll in CA going to the Oakland area in several yrs, so I don't know if its on EZ Pass or cash, but it also gets reimbursed.
I hope this helps.

Wow! good to know! -
So does Schneider pay / reimburse for tolls & lumpers in addition to the line haul & FSC?
-
It's extremely rare I deal with lumpers but there's checks they give you that Schneider gives a code to pay them with. Most loads are drop and hook at least on one end.Dave_in_AZ Thanks this. -

I don't go east of PA/NJ though, no thanks lolDave_in_AZ Thanks this.
