All good advice but the sofar it sounds normal as for being a sub contractor the basic rules are this you must supply your own tools/eqipment and set your own hours if not he must treat you as an employee and withold taxes ,workerscomp etc..if he doesn't you and him will have the IRS coming to talk with everyone not a good thing ever
