I was running 65 south in Indiana head towards Indy. White Cascadia pulling an orange wagon runs me down (i've got cruise on 70) and motors right on by. Schneider truck in full Schneider graphics. Guessing a little paper motivation goes a long way with the shop mechanics lol

There's a long downhill stretch on on the 5 southbound, near 580, where the wind blows with you, and I have to be careful.
It's about that time I usually start singing to the radio and I have to check myself, because I always seem to hit 75-80 by the time I realize I'm flying.
No governor here, I suppose, or at least I haven't found it.Vincent2254 Thanks this. -
Does any mega companies set there governors above 62 anymore? If so I wonder who? I guess just the lease drivers so far as I can see.
-
Stevens used to be under 2 years 62; over 2 years 66 unless on the Canada fleet, then 65; if purchasing a truck and financing it through them (not leasing, buying) 70; and if you held title, wide open.
Not sure if they have changed or not. -
I believe the lease owner ops have a choice. I've been passed by a lot of pumpkin trailers with different color trucks with full Schneider decals driving 70+
-
No, running on the limiter prevents that.

The ATA might wind up buying someone to push for the removal of signs like that.
BTW, was that statement too subtle? -
65 at werner. Does what I need it to do in new England. Can roll down hill faster. Haven't gotten warning.
-
speed governor.....LOL
yeah ok.. -
We're 66 on the pedal, 68 on cruise. I can live with that since I don't go further than 150 miles away.
