I just installed a wilson 2000 antenna (3500watt) and a new coax cable and had this issue. I'm aware that this post is old but it doesn't seem to have been resolved. I found what Cobra says the problem and solution is so I'm sharing it in case someone else has this issue.
Before following these instructions for adjusting the radio be sure to check the impedance of the cable you have installed. If you're not aware of how to do that simply replace the cable if you can. If you do this and screw it up returning the radio to factory settings will be difficult and require a technician if this isn't the necessary solution.
If it's not a faulty cable what's causing this is that the 29LTD and LX radios are very sensitive and when you install a high powered antenna it's sensitivity is affected, it senses the high powered antenna and throws this warning as well as on the LX the antenna test will result as failed. The radio tries to protect it self from signals being sent back in to it that shouldn't be.
Check the coax cable first. It might be the cable. If the cable tests fine and/or you replace it with a high quality cable and are still getting the error the radio's sensitivity needs adjusted. Here is how to do it.

The document is for the 28LTD. The difference between the LTD and LX is that the LX has a full LED digital display. They're the same internally, other than the digital display panel of course.Attached Files:

On a system with dual antennas, if I unplugged one antenna and just had all the power going to one side would that maybe fix the antenna warning?

Exactly right.
