I'm talking about ANY of the headsets....especially the one that fits in your ear and has the blinking light on it.As I said before,I know they would be safer and I wouldn't debate that or the fact that the cops are going to start getting rougher on cell use while driving(but those dumbazzes all have one stuck up to their head). As for the Cali info,thanks....But I started boycotting that commie state many moons ago and I think if everyone else did too, they'd finally get the hint.

I have to agree. The Jawbone is the best out there right now. I use mine for many hours each day for work.

The company developed the noise cancellation for the military. It's top notch stuff.

Everyone raved about the quality of mine. But I'm here to tell you, it's a total POS and not worth the money I spent on it.

Great battery life, but the sound quality on my end..totally suks when compared to a Blue Parrot.

So I gave mine to my sister...and she popped for a partial payment on another BP for me :)

It does sound like a good idea to me too.I'm like the rest of you guys,I've got two good radios and I'd hate to buy another one and it turn out to be a POS that didn't do what it was supposed to do.As far as the mic is concerned,it may beat a RK,but the magic 8 ball says not a snowballs chance in hell and the magic 8 ball ain't never wrong.lol.Go ahead Wall, buy one and review it for us.:biggrin_255:

I was I could boycott the state but I live here, I live in the High Desert not much traffic and I can see the stars at night very little smog.:biggrin_25519:
The interstate is something of a different subject, just like IL, OH, OR double nickels is a real drag.

I have tried all different types of headsets...from corded to BT and I like the Blue Eagle the best...I did but the Blue Parrot and after one use the battery got HOT and fried -Fried Parrot anyone (Ha, Ha).
The Dr Spock type (blue flashing) they don't fit me very good.
The one's with the cord tie my up when I want to talk and clean.
The Eagle stays put...I have long hair to my waist which is other reason the other types of BT sets don't work very well.
You'll find something that works for you.
    HAPPY HUNTING :biggrin_25526:

Cali IS a beautiful state....It's their over regulation to a almost nazi like state that makes it unattractive to me.If it wasn't for that,I would have moved there years ago.

I'm going to have to do something about this phone thang...I spend an average 5000 plus minutes a month on my phone and my head is starting to become crooked from leaning it on my shoulder so I can be hands free.I'm in and out of a truck,on and off heavy equip and everything else.I need something that I can hear clearly but won't bust the other persons ear drums when I fire a dozer, backhoe, welder, truck or anything else up.I just think those headsets/ear pieces look so goofy.I guess I'm going to have to get over that and find something I can live with.

If you're going to use that headset while using heavy equipment, then the Jawbone is a must. The noise cancelling technology built into it is short of a miracle.

Not knocking your opinion. You obviously are a fan of it. But, do you not have issues hearing the person you are speaking to?

I ask because I have obviously missed something. Someone recommended changing the ear piece to gel inserts. But I never could find any.

Back on topic... while the BT cobra might be a good idea at the moment. I seem to recall a story earlier this year, about NJ wanting to ban truckers from using the CB while driving. Someone thought is was as dangerous as talking on the cell phone.
