Sometimes the best way to land a good local job is what many people dread doing these days, and that's just knocking on doors in person and asking to be given a chance. Try Bluelinx they are based out of Atlanta and Is a good Union flatbed job home everyday

Not at all. I've been doing OTR for over a year now and she needs me home a little more often. I understand because if the shoe was on the foot I'd probably feel the same way

Just got done running beans/corn to local mills the last 8 weeks for local farmer during harvest. Gave me more seat time ( 1990 Kenworth and 2005 Int'l 8600) and learned to operate Timpte bottom hopper trailer. Alittle bit of physical work, untarping, unloading then re-tarping, but good experience and good exercise....lost 8 lbs! And knowing what I know now, there are lots of older farmers who are going to need drivers. It's a good gig and the best time of the year to be driving!

We can't do it FOR YOU.

We can point you in the direction. .. you have to go seal the deal.

If you live in ATL , you should be able to find these places pretty easily. If not , maybe you don't need to be doing LTL work.

I don't need anybody doing the work for me. I'm new to the ATL and can barely get to my house. I was just wondering besides doing things via internet, do I drive to a company's terminal. I've only had two driving jobs and got them through a recruiter. Just need to know how things work
