I've just had the misfortune of working for a bad owner . The mans name is " EVERITT M" from Fort Worth, TX, should he contact anyone out there about driving his truck , DON'T !!! He contacted me the last part of May for orientation for CRST Malone in Trussville , Al I was in orientation from 06/02-06/05 then Greyhound bus to St Louis , MO until the truck and trailer would pass inspection . I at this point have delivered on time 7 cross country loads of steel , chained , stripped and tarp ed as per CRST specs . At this point I have received nothing but promises from Mr. M about my pay and to be honest the last delivery I made in Marietta , GA , 10 miles from my house is the last mile I'll pull for this owner . I was 300 miles out of KC when all went sour and finished the load to NJ then a back load to GA . Total this man owes me to date is
    $2600.00 .
Is there some recourse I have to recover my pay ??:biggrin_25510:!!

You are still under the small claims limit. You could file in your local jurisdiction and as long as you have solid documentation of the amount owed, you should win the judgment and he would have to pay your costs as well. However, just because you have a judgement does not mean you will ever see the money. Although, there may be a means of attaching a lien to the truck through the judgement.

Another option is to talk with CRST and see if they can help you.

Good luck and let us know what you do and how it turns out.

Should anyone else have a suggestion or experience in this area please post on this thread .
