    You don't want to have truck problems. That's why KWs, Macks and Western Stars with pre-emission engines fetch top dollar especially if they are CAT powered. Also satellite phones are a must, and you want to carry a spare alternator, spare wheel bearings etc.

    They go for hundreds of km in Central Australia where very few people live except for the town of Alice Springs. The signs here will give you some idea. Stupid people ignore them at their peril! image.jpeg image.jpeg

    My truck could make the first one....but the second is 3x as far as my truck can go on a single fill-up. Guess I won't be running THAT road any time soon...:confused:
