There are a number of Apps related to radiation. Others capable with a attachment viewing thermal in your cell phone. In really difficult night time weather you can have the phone helping out on the dash looking for Deer and things of that nature. There are accelerometers inside the phone where you can find level, speed of ascent and descent on a mountain and so forth.
OTher apps deal with the AIrlines, Trains, Police etc. No scanner in truck necessary, you have it all on your phone with the right software. I imagine by now you can get into your 18 wheeler's software sensors and learn how it's doing. But most if not all companies prefer you to not even get into the systems inside the 18 wheeler. Some will fire you if they detected you roaming inside looking at the injectors and so on.
Regarding the radiation, don't let them catch you scanning the seafood with it. I understand that the Pacific is thoroughly irradiated and will not improve any time soon due to Fukushima-Daichi's multiple meltdowns from a few years ago. -
There is a new app I keep hearing advertised on road dog but I never remember when I stop.
Basically you and your buddies register on it and when you get within 50 miles of each other it alerts you.
I've passed pretty close to some guys one here I wouldn't mind buying a beer for but didn't know till the end of the day.
Anyone know/try this app?
